Tennessee Pell Grants 2013 / 2014 and Participating Education Institutions

The Tennessee Pell Grant is available to Tennessee state resident undergraduate students studying towards a baccalaureate or first professional degree. In order to qualify to receive the Pell Grant, Tennessee students must prove a need for financial aid and be enrolled at an education institution that participates in the Federal Student Aid Program.

The maximum level of Pell grant award available to Tennessee students for the 2013/2014 academic year is $5,645, and the minimum is $550. The level of award that Tennessee students receive will depend on their enrollment status and Expected Family Contributions.

Tennessee students can use the federal Pell grant at any of the participating education institutions across the United States. However, if studying out of state, they should expect to pay out-of state tuition fees. As a result, because students would be Tennessee residents, their Pell grant awards and any additional federal and Tennessee state funded college grants they receive will not stretch as far as they would if studying at one of Tennessee’s education institutions.

Below is the list of Tennessee schools, colleges and universities that participate in the Tennessee Pell Grant Program.
